Therapeutic effects of lamellar keratoplasty on terrien marginal degeneration

Li L, et al. - The therapeutic outcomes of lamellar keratoplasty (LK) on the Terrien marginal degeneration (TMD) was evaluated by the experts. In the individuals with TMD, LK could effectively reduce the refractive errors, improve visual acuity and reduce the risk of corneal perforation. Findings suggested that the visual acuity following the partial LK was superior to that after total LK.
