Putthanachole N et al. -In the current studym the risk of gastric cancer from XRCC1 gene polymorphisms as modified by environmental factors in the Thai population was determined.It was shown that XRCC1 gene homozygosity, especially Arg/Arg, is associated with an increased the risk for gastric cancer by a high intake of vegetable oils and salt.
