The value of midbrain morphology in predicting prognosis in chronic disorders of consciousness: A preliminary ultrasound study

Chillura A, et al. - This preliminary study aimed to evaluate the usefulness of midbrain transcranial sonography (TCS) in evaluating outcome in patients with chronic Disorders of Consciousness (DOC). The researchers proposed that TCS data of the midbrain could support clinical assessment of patients with chronic DOC to estimate their outcome.
