Archives of Gynecology and Obstetrics Jan 13, 2018

Kim SM, et al. - The authors performed a comparison of surgical outcomes and complications of 334 women who underwent total laparoscopic hysterectomy with or without the use of barbed sutures for vaginal cuff closure. With regard to the suture material, no meaningful decrease in postoperative vaginal complications including vaginal cuff dehiscence was identified.
