The timing of hip arthroscopy after intra-articular hip injection affects postoperative infection risk

Wang D, et al. – The goal of this current research was to assess the link between preoperative intra–articular hip injection and surgical site infection following hip arthroscopy. Findings demonstrated that provision of preoperative intra–articular hip injections within 3 months of surgery was associated with an increased risk of infection after hip arthroscopy.
