The supraorbital eyebrow approach for removal of craniopharyngioma in children: A case series

de Oliveira RS, et al. - Here, the clinicians presented an alternative surgical approach (supraorbital eyebrow) for removal of craniopharyngioma and provided the rationale for this technique. In properly selected cases of all pediatric age ranges, from infants to teenagers, the supraorbital eyebrow approach was an alternative route to operate on craniopharyngiomas. There was sufficient working space for the endoscope and all instruments, allowing for endoscopic assistance and bimanual surgical technique. They observed excellent cosmetic results and complications related to the approach were minimal.
