van Munster KN, Dijkgraaf MGW, van Gennep S, et al. - In this study, the reliability and validity of Simple Cholestatic Complaints Score (SCCS) in a Dutch population were explored. A total of 212 patients from the Dutch prospective primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC) registry were included in the study. Via digital surveys, data were obtained. Researchers assessed reliability with internal consistency and reproducibility. They ascertained construct‐, criterion‐ and discriminant validity. They assessed the ability to detect clinical change with SCCS in patients who had undergone endoscopic intervention. The SCCS was found to be a valid instrument to assess cholestatic symptoms in PSC patients. It is suitable for frequent monitoring of symptoms in clinical trials and daily practice because of its quick and easy to use properties.
