The role of three-dimensional pseudo-continuous arterial spin labelling in grading and differentiating histological subgroups of meningiomas
Clinical Radiology Oct 16, 2017
Lu Y, et al. - This study sought to ascertain the usefulness of pseudo-continuous arterial spin labelling (pCASL) imaging in grading and differentiating histological subtypes of meningiomas. The cerebral blood flow values from peritumoural oedema (CBFPTO) compared to the cerebral blood flow (CBF) values from the meningioma (CBFtumour), from pCASL imaging could serve as a key factor in distinguishing different grades of meningiomas. Moreover, CBFtumour value could identify angiomatous meningiomas and fibrous meningiomas.
