Cao HST, et al. – This study was meant to assess the role of surgery and adjuvant therapy in lymph node–positive cancers of the gallbladder and intrahepatic bile ducts. The best outcomes for patients with lymph node–positive BTCs were associated with margin–negative resection. However, in patients with gallbladder cancer (GBC), best clinical outcomes were associated with the inclusion of adjuvant chemotherapy with radiation regardless of margin status.
