Fossum CC, et al. – The role of neoadjuvant radiotherapy was appraised for patients with stage IV rectal cancer undergoing curative–intent surgery. Data of this work suggested to consider neoadjuvant radiotherapy in patients with locally–advanced stage IV rectal cancer. In the setting of resectable metastatic disease, these data added to the evidence supporting neoadjuvant radiotherapy.
