Pereira JX, et al. – Characterization was pursued of the adipocytolytic procedures in this research. It also sought to correlate the phases of the inflammatory process with the results obtained from such procedures. The intent was to clarify the role of inflammation triggered by the adipocytolytic procedures and its association with the lipolytic process, with emphasis on body shaping. It was concluded that the inflammatory process aided the adipolytic process in all stages of inflammation. It served as a contributory factor in the reduction of body contouring.
