Papamichael MM, et al. - The impact of fish intake on asthma in children was determined via a systematic search and meta-analysis. As a result of introducing fish early in life (6-9 months) and regular consumption of all fish (at least once a week), reduction in asthma and wheeze was noted in children up to 4.5 years old. At the same time, it was suggested that fatty fish intake may be beneficial in older children.
