Wu JJ, et al. - Authors aimed to evaluate the risk of major cardiovascular events and the impact of cumulative treatment exposure on cardiovascular event risk in psoriasis subjects treated with tumor necrosis factor-alpha inhibitors (TNFis) vs phototherapy. A lower cardiovascular event risk was exhibited by psoriasis patients treated with TNFis vs those treated with phototherapy. Compared to phototherapy, the cumulative exposure to TNFis was related to an incremental cardiovascular risk reduction.
