Yoshida S, et al. - This community-based, cross-sectional study was performed to examine the relationship between urine pH and abnormal glucose tolerance. The clinicians found a significant association between low urine pH and abnormal glucose tolerance. Thus, for identifying patients at high risk for diabetes, measuring urine pH could prove useful.
