Bezold CP, et al. - The association of surrounding greenness in early life with subsequent risk of depressive symptoms was investigated. Researchers also inquired if this association was modified by age, sex, or population density. Findings suggested that mental health may be benefitted by living in an area with greater surrounding greenness during childhood, particularly in more urban areas.
