The prognostic value of TP53 and its correlation with EGFR mutation in advanced non-small cell lung cancer, an analysis based on cBioPortal data base
Lung Cancer Jul 09, 2018
Jiao XD, et al. - This study draws on data from the Cancer Genome Atlas Database to explore the predictive value of TP53 in advanced non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and the correlation with EGFR mutation. The findings from the present study suggested that TP53 mutation was a negative predictive factor for overall survival (OS) in advanced NSCLC. The outcomes suggested that different mutation type of TP53 could predict different OS in advanced NSCLC. The prognosis of advanced NSCLC patients could be predicted more accurately when coupled with EGFR mutation.
