Xu L, et al. - As microRNA-145 (miR-145) is an important tumor-related miRNA, researchers sought its prognostic significance and regulatory mechanisms in various tumors via performing a systematic review and meta-analysis of 50 studies. The pooled results showed a significant association of low miR-145 expression in tumor tissues with worse overall and progression-free survival in patients with various tumors. Furthermore, miR-145 was identified to be involved in multiple tumor-related pathways and the functioning of significant biological effects.
