Sinnamon AJ, et al. - Experts aimed to evaluate the sex-specific prognostic implications of tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes (TILs) in patients with melanoma. In predicting sentinel lymph node (SLN) positivity, the implications of TILs appeared to be more relevant for men than women. Among men, SLN positivity was associated with TILs. On the contrary, no association between SLN positivity and TILs was noted among the women.
