Fraser A, et al. - In this present study, the authors reported depression symptoms in a clinical attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) sample compared to a population sample, and compare self-reports of depression symptoms with parent-reports. Young people with ADHD were at high risk of experiencing symptoms of depression but could under-report the severity of their symptoms. In order to avoid missing key indicators of risk, obtaining parent reports of depression symptoms in this group might be important.
