Filippou G, et al. - Authors ascertained the role of ultrasound (US) for the evaluation of patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) in clinical remission, including joint and tendon evaluation. The mean age of the patients involved in this study was 56.20 (±13.31) years. As per data, an independent risk factor of flare in patients with RA in clinical remission was Power Doppler (PD) positivity in tendons and joints. In patients with RA in clinical remission, musculoskeletal ultrasound evaluation was a valuable tool to monitor and help decision making.
