The Pain Course: 12 and 24 month outcomes from a randomised controlled trial of an Internet-delivered pain management program provided with different levels of clinician support

The Journal of Pain Aug 15, 2018

Dear BF, et al. - Researchers sought to determine the long-term outcomes of emerging internet-delivered pain management programs via analyzing the 12-month and 24-month follow-up data from a randomised controlled trial (n = 490) of an internet-delivered pain management program, the Pain Course. The program led to clinically significant reductions in disability, depression, anxiety and average pain levels that remained maintained at 12 and 24-month follow-up. Outcomes thus support lasting clinical effects of these programs.
