The outcomes and complications of pancreaticoduodenectomy (Whipple procedure): Cross sectional study

Karim SAM, et al. - Researcher performed this study to report the outcomes, and rates of complications from patients who had undergone pancreaticoduodenectomy (PD)(Whipple procedure) by their surgical team. They also performed a comparison between their outcomes with other centers. Outcomes suggest that PD could be performed with desirable outcomes without advanced critical care units. Preoperative ERCP appeared to make the difficulty of bile duct dissection during PD.
