The MRZ reaction helps to distinguish rheumatologic disorders with central nervous involvement from multiple sclerosis
BMC Neurology Feb 09, 2018
Hottenrott T, et al. - The authors ascertained if the MRZ reaction (MRZR) was beneficial for distinguishing the rheumatologic disorders with central nervous system (CNS) involvement (RDwCNS) from multiple sclerosis (MS). High specificity of MRZR-2 for MS was revealed during this study. Hence, it was inferred that MRZR-2 could serve as a useful diagnostic instrument in order to distinguish MS from RDwCNS or other inflammatory autoimmune neurological diseases affecting the CNS (OIND).
