The microRNA-375 as a potentially promising biomarker to predict the prognosis of patients with head and neck or esophageal squamous cell carcinoma: A meta-analysis
European Archives of Oto-Rhino-Laryngology Feb 15, 2019
Wang P, et al. - Researchers estimated the data from PubMed, Embace, Medline, Cochrane Library, and China Biology Medicine disk to examine the prognostic significance of microRNA-375 (miR-375) expression in head and neck or esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) based on all eligible evidence. They observed that downregulation of miR-375 significantly predicted poor overall survival (OS). They noted a correlation of lower expression of miR-375 with poor OS in subjects with esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) and head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC).
