International Journal of General Medicine May 28, 2021
Juli C, Heryaman H, Nazir A, et al. - This study was undertaken to investigate the relationship among risk factors, infarct location, leukocyte counts, lymphocyte value, and neurologic output in acute ischemic stroke patients. Researchers examined 193 patients’ data from medical records which met the inclusion and exclusion criteria with a diagnosis of acute ischemic stroke at the Department of Neurology of Dr. Hasan Sadikin General Bandung. Data were then analyzed using appropriate statistical tests. The results demonstrate that in patients with leukocytosis, lymphocyte depletion is a predictor of poor National Institute of Health Stroke Scale.
