Al-Amiry B, et al. - Postoperative functional outcome, quality of life as well as abductor muscle strength were assessed in relation to preoperative radiological severity and symptom duration of hip osteoarthritis (OA) in patients who underwent total hip arthroplasty (THA). According to findings, THA outcome remained unaltered by preoperative radiological OA severity and symptom duration and these factors should probably not affect the decision about timing the operative intervention.
