Zimmermann P, et al. - The prospective randomised placebo-controlled studies investigating the impact of probiotics on humoral vaccine responses in humans were systematically reviewed. Evidence from the studies reported that probiotics afford a relatively cheap intervention to improve vaccine efficacy and duration of protection and this strategy is worth pursuing.
