Erkapers M, et al. - An inquiry was set up with regard to the oral health-related quality of life (OHQoL) in edentulous patients treated with immediately loaded implants in the maxilla. Those who received prosthetic rehabilitation on immediately loaded implants presented with the highest improved OHQoL 12 months after implant installation. The findings revealed persistent, high quality of life related to oral health after three years. It was noted that the edentulous patients with atrophy of the maxilla reported an improved OHQoL after implant treatment with immediate loading protocol.
