Almomani FM, et al. - The prevalence and related risk factors of depression among residents of assisted living (ALs) in Jordan were examined. Among residents of AL units in Jordan, depression was relatively common. Healthcare professionals, nurses, physiotherapists, and dentists working in these facilities had to work cooperatively to recognize the manifestations of depression in residents and collaboratively implement the best practice in the treatment of depression and circumvent its long-term impacts on the health of residents.
