Tripto-Shkolnik L, et al. - The safety of vitamin D repletion in primary hyperparathyroidism (PHP) patients in a real-world setting is evaluated in this study. The outcome suggests that the vitamin D repletion in PHP appears to be safe. Considering the documented adverse impact of vitamin D deficiency in PHP, especially on skeletal manifestations and on the postoperative course, vitamin D repletion is warranted.
