Mollard E, et al. - As a part of this research, the tie-up between menopause with functional status outcomes was contemplated by the authors among women with rheumatoid arthritis (RA). A link was unveiled between the menopausal status with functional decline in the study cohort. Menopause also exhibited a connection with the worsening progression of functional decline. Hence, it was determined that menopause displayed a prominent influence on the level and rate of functional decline in such individuals.
