Wong L, et al. - The effect of donor body weight (DBW) to recipient body weight (RBW) ratio on allograft function and survival was evaluated herein. Five-year allograft survival remained unaffected by mismatching of donor to recipient weight, but a low DBW/RBW ratio was found to be modestly related to lower estimated glomerular filtration rate, in the setting of deceased donor renal transplantation.
