Shin DH, et al. – This study was performed to investigate the effect of discrepancy between measured vs. stated weight on hemorrhagic transformation and clinical outcomes after intravenous alteplase thrombolysis. The clinicians revealed that more alteplase usage compared to actual weight led to higher hemorrhagic transformation. It was important to administrate alteplase based on an accurately measured weight as one of the predictors for clinical deterioration.
