Clinical Rheumatology Sep 16, 2018
Rambod M, et al. - A case-control study was conducted to determine the effect of dietary habits on the pathogenesis of rheumatoid arthritis by analyzing data of 500 rheumatoid arthritis patients and 500 healthy controls who were referred to three clinics of Shiraz University of Medical Sciences in 2015–2016. Results of this study suggested that coffee consumption of more than one cup per month and green tea might be preventive for developing rheumatoid arthritis, while consumption of more full-fat milk per month and solid oil could be at risk of rheumatoid arthritis. Modification of diet based on these findings was suggested in this analysis.
