A worse clinical prognosis was displayed via higher expression of AR and HDAC6 and HDAC6/AR co-expression. The expression levels of HDAC6 and AR appeared to be correlated in the case of breast cancer. It was also noted that HDAC6 and AR depicted prognostic value in speculating the overall survival (OS) of estrogen receptor (ER)-negative breast cancer patients.
