The etiological relationship between migraine and sudden hearing loss

Arslan Y, et al. - The tie-up between sudden sensorineural hearing loss (SSNHL) and migraine were comprehensively explored in this trial. Additionally, authors discerned the prevalence of migraine in patients with idiopathic SSNHL and identified a possible common vascular etiopathogenesis for migraine and SSNHL. A higher prevalence of migraine was reported in SSNHL patients. Despite the higher recovery rates among those with migraine, the variations did not appear to be statistically significant.
