Wright NC, et al. - During this research, experts evaluated the incidence of wrist fractures in older community-dwelling older men aged ≥65. In addition, they examined the possible risk factors in the study group. Fracture history was discovered to be a strong predictor of wrist fractures in men. Additional risk factors included medications such as SSRIs and corticosteroids. Findings presented kidney function and the inability to perform the grip strength test as novel risk factors.
