Booth ATC, et al. - This research was initiated in order to gauge the effects of functional gait training on walking ability in children and young adults with cerebral palsy (CP). Such a functional gait training approach was discovered to be a safe, feasible, and effective intervention for targeting improved walking ability in children and young adults with CP. An increase could be gained in the patient engagement through the addition of virtual reality and biofeedback. It could also magnify the effects.
