The efficacy of dexamethasone reducing postoperative pain and emesis after total knee arthroplasty: A systematic review and meta-analysis

Fan Z, et al. - This meta-analysis was performed to assess the efficacy of dexamethasone on pain and recovery after Total knee Arthroplasty. Observations revealed the efficacy of dexamethasone in decreasing postoperative pain, the incidence of POVN, and total opioid consumption. Dexamethasone thereby seemed beneficial to recovery after total knee replacement.
