Ha T, et al. - An investigation was carried out with regard to the effect of budesonide addition to Chitosan-dextran gel (CD gel) on postoperative ostial stenosis and adhesion formation following endoscopic sinus surgery (ESS). The combination of CD gel to the topical budesonide solution resulted in an improvement in the long-term sinus ostial patency and prevented ostial stenosis post-ESS.
