Kim SH, et al. - In this randomized controlled study, the effect of repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) on body weight was investigated in obese patients. In decreasing food intake and facilitating weight loss among obese patients, rTMS delivered to the left dorsolateral prefrontal cortex (DLPFC) was effective. Findings revealed that for obesity, rTMS could be an effective treatment option.
