Fink B, et al. - Researchers estimated the impact of skin surface topography and color evenness cues on the perceptions of facial age, health and attractiveness in males. The participants included in this study were aged 40 to 70 years. Findings suggested that the perception of age, health, and attractiveness in men's faces were affected by skin surface topography and coloration cues. Most positive assessments were resulted by the combined removal of these features on the forehead, cheeks and in the periorbital area.
