The effect of sildenafil citrate on poor endometrium in patients undergoing frozen-thawed embryo transfer following resection of intrauterine adhesions: A retrospective study
Gynecologic and Obstetric Investigation Jun 17, 2021
Li X, Su Y, Xie Q, et al. - In view of the recent findings suggesting sildenafil citrate as efficacious in enhancing estrogen-induced proliferation of the endometrium in infertile women, researchers sought to determine if sildenafil citrate could influence pregnancy outcomes in infertile women receiving frozen-thawed embryo transfer (FET) after resection of intrauterine adhesions (IUAs). They recruited and divided a total of 310 women who met the inclusion criteria into the control group and the sildenafil citrate group. As per outcomes, the administration of sildenafil citrate during FET could effectively improve the poor endometrial conditions after FET following the resection of IUAs.
