BMC Pregnancy and Childbirth May 05, 2021
Alizadeh S, Riazi H, Majd HA, et al. - Researchers conducted this randomized, longitudinal, clinical trial to examine the impacts of a sexual health education package on the dimensions of sexual health in pregnant women. In total, 154 pregnant women partook in this study. Participants were divided into three groups: Group A or the training group (50 candidates), Group B or the self-training group (53 candidates), and Group C or the control group (51 candidates). The results obtained in the intervention group vs the control group showed the effectiveness of the sexual health education package in terms of improvement in sexual health dimensions. According to the findings, healthcare providers should provide sexual health training during pregnancy in addition to other healthcare services in order to maintain and promote the sexual health of pregnant women.
