The Lancet Sep 25, 2017
Lear SA, et al. - This study is performed to examine whether different amounts and types of physical activity are related to lower mortality and cardiovascular disease (CVD) in countries at different economic levels. According to the outcome obtained, higher recreational and non-recreational physical activity was related to a lower risk of mortality and CVD events in individuals from low-income, middle-income, and high-income countries. Increasing physical activity is a simple, widely applicable, low-cost global strategy that could decrease deaths and CVD in middle age.
