Ahmad J, et al. - Researchers retrospectively compared treatment outcomes in nonobese and obese patients who were treated surgically for acute Achilles tendon ruptures. According to findings, in both nonobese and obese patients, surgical repair of the Achilles tendon can afford a high rate of improvement in ankle function and pain relief.
