The effect of nerve sparing status on sexual and urinary function: 3 year results from the CEASAR study

Avulova S, et al. - Prostate cancer (PCa) patients treated with radical prostatectomy (RP) were evaluated for sexual and urinary function outcomes, according to degree of nerve sparing (NS). Compared to none (NNS) or unilateral (UNS) nerve sparing, bilateral nerve sparing resulted in better sexual and urinary function outcomes. However, the difference was not marked in men with low baseline sexual function.
