Arthroscopy Oct 05, 2017
Kluczynski MA, et al. - This study assessed the impact of obesity on clinical outcomes at 1 year following arthroscopic partial meniscectomy. Before arthroscopic partial meniscectomy, obese patients versus normal-weight patients exhibited worse pain, physical functioning, and quality-of-life scores, as well as decreased flexion. No statistically significant differences were evident in clinical outcomes at 1 year after arthroscopic partial meniscectomy but except for an association of obesity with decreased knee flexion.
