Chen X, et al. - This meta-analysis was performed to determine the effect of antiviral therapy with nucleoside analogs (NAs) after curative resection on the long-term postoperative survival of patients with hepatitis B virus (HBV)-related hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). It was noticed that antiviral therapy with NAs conferred significant survival benefits in these patients. This was particularly evident in patients with high baseline HBV DNA level (≥20,000 IU/mL).
