The diagnostic value of TROP-2, SLP-2 and CD56 expression in papillary thyroid carcinoma
European Archives of Oto-Rhino-Laryngology Jul 25, 2018
Yang X, et al. - Authors sought to gauge some novel diagnostic biomarkers for papillary thyroid carcinoma (PTC) by identifying the different expression of TROP-2, SLP-2, and CD56 in benign and malignant thyroid lesions. Findings suggested efficacious diagnostic biomarkers for PTC were found in using TROP-2, SLP-2, and CD56, especially when they were combined to use. The sensitivity and NPV increased to 100% and had better diagnostic accuracy when the markers were combined. Nonetheless, biomarker expressions and clinicopathological factors in PTCs were not seen to be associated.
